Self improvement with God

What is self-improvement, 3 ways self-improvement can change your life, 10 self- improvement musts, where do I start self-improvement? If you want the answers to these statements. Please make yourself comfortable with a cup of coffee or glass of wine, because in this blog we ( yes, you also ) will try and figure out the basics of self-improvement with God and why it's important to keep pushing yourself to be better every day. (every single day )

Alright, ladies and gents when you are ready and comfortable. Let's start with the meaning behind self-improvement. Cambridge Dictionary's definition states that self- improvement is the activity of learning new things on your own that make you a more skilled or able person. Remember, there is more definitions of self-improvement, but for now, let us stick with this one. The words that stand out are learning, new things, your own (alone), skilled. We can use these words to create the 4 pillars to self-improvement.

The 4 pillars to self-improvement :
Learning who we are through the eyes of  God
New things, to trust and believe in the miracles God have planned for our future
Your own, the relationship between you and God
Skilled, with the knowledge you can help

It doesn't matter who you are, I'm sure just like everyone else you have been disappointed in your life. Maybe things did not go the way you planned or maybe you thought you would be stronger to handle the disappointment. It happens to all of us, we all have our disappointments in life, but you know why we get knocked down? To get back up even stronger than before and to build our self-confidence. We need to trust the waves, God has put us on. Like everything else God is a Father of miracles and He knows the plans He has for us, but of course, we start to doubt the things in life, we start to wonder why is this happening to us and why do we need to go through all this pain. Whilst some people are sailing on a calm sea. One word: self- improvement.

In Jeremiah 17:7 there stands "but blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in Him"  . This verse tells us that we need to have a confident attitude in God. Sometimes you wonder why God blesses other people and not you, why do you need to wait longer for your blessings. This is how the devil steals ours self-confidence in God. The devil let's you doubt in  God's timing and before you know it, you start to get jealous of what God is doing in other peoples lives instead of being happy for them. We need to start saying thanks to God for our blessings and stop comparing ourselves with other people.Learn to be happy when God blesses someone else. Build your self-improvement and learn to see yourself through Gods eyes (learning), be open to receive the  blessings of God (new things), stop comparing yourself with others and  focus on you (your own) and be more skilled.
