How to tell him you need space ( and not in his closet type of space).

Ladies we all need "me time" now and then. So how are we going to break him the news?. Mmmhh this is a tricky question, because we all know some men can take it the wrong way and think you want to break-up, not see him again blah blah blah.

Just understand we as ladies need our time to think and recap,because believe me being a woman is not a easy job. (I don't know why but I have Bonnie Tyler's' "Loving you is a dirty job but someone's gotta do" it stuck in my head ) Okay back to the important stuff.Let's get to it shall we...

We are going to work this step by step for the only reason that men will understand our plan.
Yes only 4 steps, because women don't mess around.

Step 1 - First you need to figure out that the so called dates nights turned into week nights then months and you busy doing his laundry by now aren't you ? Oh darling if your answer is yes please proceed to step 2 and complete this step by step method. If your answer is no, don't fool yourself you know every women needs time for herself.

Step 2- Sit him down and give him a beer. Okay you are sitting, looking each other in the eye and you need to break the news.

Step 3- Now that he is half way with his beer you start to by saying  "babe, (give a small pause) I've been thinking( because women actually think before they do stuff) maybe (open for discussion) we should have time for ourselves ?" and now we wait for the response. If he doesn't respond in the next hour or so, be prepared for the "you want to break-up, you don't want to see me again" kind of stuff. If he responded quickly, you are in the clear and can confirm your spa treatment for next week.

 Step 4- He agreed ( what other choice do men actually have, we are just being polite by asking). Every month you have a weekend for yourself(or day , hour. The duration of the "me time" depends on how long you want it to be), no commitment, just you and your home made mask and romantic movies of course !.

Okay, I think we can all agree that banana bread should be banned from shelves. Why? you may ask. If you have not been baking banana bread for the last couple of weeks or even months. The real question you should ask yourself is: Have you even been quarantining? because banana bread is all over the internet Susan. You get the original banana recipe then you get the banana and strawberry recipe ( I know, I know. Let's blame quartine for that one ) then you get the pecan and oatmeal ( actually not bad).
